These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Paradise City Salon & Spa's services, website, and online booking systems. By booking an appointment, visiting our salon, or using our website at paradisecitysalon.net, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

 

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Acceptance of Terms

By visiting Paradise City Salon & Spa in person, booking any service through our website, phone, or third-party booking platform, or by using this website in any capacity, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services or website.

These terms apply to all guests, visitors, and users, regardless of how they accessed our services or online content.

Services Offered

Paradise City Salon & Spa offers a full range of professional beauty and wellness services including, but not limited to: Moroccan Bath Hammam treatments, body massage, facials, hair care, nail care, waxing, makeup artistry, and eyebrow threading and shaping.

 

All services are delivered by trained professionals in a women-only environment. The most current information is available by contacting us directly or viewing our service menu online.

 

We reserve the right to decline to perform any service that, in the professional judgment of our specialists, may pose a risk to the health or safety of the guest or our team, including but not limited to active skin conditions, open wounds, or undisclosed contraindications.

Appointments & Bookings

Appointments may be made online through our booking system, by phone at (313) 722-4443, or by email at info@paradisecitysalon.net. All appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation.

 

We recommend arriving at least 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and any pre-treatment consultation. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service duration. If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled time, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment to protect the experience of other guests.

 

Walk-in appointments are accepted subject to availability. We strongly recommend booking in advance for Hammam sessions and multi-service visits.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

We ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. This courtesy ensures that our specialists can plan their schedules and that the reserved time can be offered to another guest.

 

  • Cancellations with 24+ hours' notice: Rescheduled or cancelled at no charge.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice: May be subject to a partial service charge, to be determined at management's discretion.

  • No-shows: Guests who do not arrive for their appointment without notice may be charged a no-show fee or required to prepay for future bookings.

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance, please contact us as early as possible and we will always make every effort to accommodate you graciously.

Payments & Pricing

We accept cash and major credit and debit cards. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your service is the price in effect at the time of your appointment.

 

Gratuity for our team members is not included in service pricing and is entirely at your discretion. It is always deeply appreciated and may be paid in cash or added to a card payment at checkout.

Regarding package deposits:

Some specialty packages, including multi-service Hammam bookings and group appointments, may require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward your total service cost and are non-refundable in the event of a no-show or late cancellation as described in Section 04.

Health, Safety & Disclosure

Your safety is our priority. To ensure that all treatments are performed safely and appropriately for your individual needs, we ask that you disclose any of the following before your service begins:

 

Known skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities to any ingredients or products.

Medical conditions that may be affected by heat, steam, massage, or topical application — including but not limited to pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions, skin disorders, or recent surgeries.

Current medications that may affect skin sensitivity or treatment outcomes.

Paradise City Salon & Spa will not be held liable for adverse reactions resulting from a guest's failure to disclose relevant health information prior to receiving a service. We strongly encourage all guests, particularly those booking Hammam or massage treatments for the first time to consult with their healthcare provider if they have any concerns about the suitability of a particular treatment.

 

We reserve the right to decline service to any guest whose health condition, in the professional assessment of our team, presents a risk to their well-being or the safety of our staff.

Women-Only Policy

Paradise City Salon & Spa operates exclusively as a women's establishment. This policy is a foundational aspect of our identity and is maintained to ensure the privacy, comfort, and safety of every guest and team member.

 

All guests, visitors, and accompanying individuals must be female. We respectfully and without exception ask that all visitors honor this policy. Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the premises.

Conduct & Salon Etiquette

We are committed to maintaining a calm, welcoming, and respectful environment for all guests. To protect that experience, we ask every visitor to observe the following:

 

  • Please silence your mobile device upon entering the salon and keep phone conversations brief and at a low volume.

  • Children under the age of 10 are kindly asked not to accompany adults during spa treatments such as Hammam, massage, or facials.

  • Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior toward staff or other guests will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of service without refund.

  • Personal belongings are brought into the salon at the owner's risk. Paradise City is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Limitation of Liability

Paradise City Salon & Spa provides all services in accordance with professional standards and with reasonable care. However, individual results from any beauty or wellness treatment may vary based on personal health, skin type, and other factors outside our control.

 

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Paradise City Salon & Spa and its owners, staff, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including dissatisfaction with results, allergic reactions arising from undisclosed sensitivities, or loss of personal property.

 

Our total liability to any guest for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Paradise City Salon & Spa website including text, photography, logos, graphics, and design is the property of Paradise City Salon & Spa or its licensed content providers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

 

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without the express written permission of Paradise City Salon & Spa.

Website Use

Our website is provided for informational and booking purposes. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all information on the site is complete, current, or error-free. Services, pricing, and availability described on the website may differ from what is currently offered. Please confirm details with us directly when in doubt.

 

We are not responsible for any disruption, errors, or outages affecting third-party platforms linked from our website, including our online booking system.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. When material changes are made, the updated version will be published on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services or website following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
